Poetry:

      ADHD

Out of control
Prescribed medication
Just what you need
To achieve relaxation
Mental collapse
Insightful distortion
Taking its toll
The perfect proportion
Swallow the pill
Suppression of thought
Slowly calm down
Just what you bought

Children

The born infestation
Mini-van generation
The blind leading blind
Corrupting the mind
The gang of conformists
Numbers enormous
With each year that passes
They join the masses
Think that you're old
You're losing your hold
Kids so polite
Once so contrite
Now they have changed
Horribly deranged

The War Machine

As progressive stupidity grips us, the war machine rolls on.
Corruption and power prosper, over the failing power of one.
One more death for the good of the country, one more dollar spent.
One more grieving family, exactly what they meant.
Oh how this war pains me, how it breaks my heart.
How I wish I could change it, I wish I could do my part.
Obey the propaganda!
Become the huddled mass!
Destroy the common knowledge!
Eliminate the past!
Support new world order!
Watch your dollar burn!
Slowly break the spirit,
As the tide begins to turn.
Light at the end of the tunnel, life in the fast lane.
Is hat hope that's shining, or is it just a train?
Insanity sets in, all hope turns to dust.
How I wish that war machine would stop and slowly rust.
